Plot/ Summary:
It is a story about a girl named Nombeko Mayeki, who lived and worked in Soweto, considered herself as illiterate until she met a foreigner that thought her how to read and a drunken engineer that eventually changed her life and had been her key to explore other places together with just a couple megaton atomic bomb. Her journey from Soweto to Johannesburg to Sweden; and also her journey from being an assistant for a latrine office in Soweto to an Ambassador of Sweden for South Africa.
Blogger Review:
What I like about this book is how the main character became the heroine of the story. also a success story for an illiterate girl from Soweto became a multi-lingual Ambassador of Sweden for South Africa. I also like how the plot was arranged, though truthfully at first I was a bit confused, because at some part there are 2 stories that were being told, but then when all of the characters in the story met in Sweden, the story becomes clearer and easy to comprehend. The plot of the book itself is not quite predictable and I love it. The surprise of every part on what's going to happen to the characters gives it a thrill. Hopefully other reader would also love this book.

I choose this book for the category- "A book set somewhere you've always wanted to visit" and its because of Sweden, because Sweden = IKEA! I have wanted to go there ever since I had watched a documentary on IKEA Factory in Sweden.
Additional Notes:
This is the 2nd book of the author, first published in Sweden as of year 2013. Jonas Jonasson, aside from being a book author, he is also a journalist from Sweden.
Hopefully I would also be able to read his first book "The Hundred Year Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared"---> added to my wish list :)
